Description
Junghans 'Borduhr' WW2 German Luftwaffe aircraft cockpit clock, the movement stamped J30 BZ, the dial with Arabic 12-3-9, hour and minute markers, subsidiary dial and centre seconds, rotating bezel with five seconds divisions, screw case back, inscribed plaque to the reverse, 60mm case.
This clock was issued for use in German aircraft during World War 2. Made in Germany, it is a piece of militaria specifically designed for the German Air Force. Dating from 1939-1945, it holds historical significance as a functional item used in the military aviation of that time. A collectable item, this clock represents a tangible link to the past and the technology used during this tumultuous period in history.
