SECR / LCDR 12inch clock Ex Stewarts Lane Station

A desirable and attractive 12inch drop dial clock with a well-balanced John Walker dial, re-painted post nationalisation BR(S) and numbered 1194.S.E. Clock records, included, indicate railway service life at Stewarts Lane Station. Solid mahogany case with dovetail construction and ‘flame cut’ mahogany veneer to the front face. The rear of the case is stamped ‘1124 S.E.’ and complemented with an original brass identification plate also stamp 1194, fixed to the inner face of the side door. Quality fusee mechanism with turner tapered pillars. Runs well and keeps good time. Height 500mm, Width 370mm, Depth 150mm. Please view images for condition details.
