LNER 8inch fusee clock Ex Walton Signal Box

A desirable London North Eastern Railway 8inch roundhead fusee clock in very original Ex Railway Service condition. Ex New England Station, Walton Signal Box, the original LNER clock record card has amazingly survived and is complemented with the 1983 bill of sale from BR Stores Controller, York. The visually balanced original dial has had L.N.E.R. sensitively reinstated with evidence of ghost lettering showing the later B.R.(E) and 24 hours numerals. Turned solid mahogany dial surround with cast brass bezel, dovetail constructed back box retaining original side door and locking bottom door. Quality English fusee movement with turned pillars, runs well and keeps good time. Original pendulum, winding key, case pegs, and bottom door key.
