L&BR clock key

Extremely rare original clock key from one of the early London railway companies, very clearly engraved with the company initials – size No.8 - 4mm key size.
The London and Brighton Railway (L&BR) was incorporated in 1837 and survived until 1846 when it amalgamated with the London and Croydon Railway (L&CR). Its railway ran from a junction with the (L&CR) at Norwood which give it access to the South Coast at Brighton together with a branch to Shoreham on Sea.
