Southern Railway signal box brass plunger with an original brass description ring 'PLATFORM BELL'. The brass ring has been re-worked at some point in service life replacing the previous description 'DOWN NORTH KENT - DARTFORD No.2'. In ex-signal box condition complete with all parts and internal component including fixing base plate which is stamped '51' & '26'. Evidence of black paintwork from the signal box block shelf.
