Description
Gorgeous mahogany cased Midland Railway pegging block instrument with original french polish finish and stunning patina. Certainly a much cherished instrument whilst in service and in ex-box condition. Beautifully brass plated Carlton Road Junction Goods Lines. Stamped four times MRCo to the front and top faces and WF 16 internally. Hand-written internally WF 16 27.04.12 60W along with MRCo test label dated 19.10.23. Possibly date stamped to the top face 1884. Internal mechanism complete, with free swinging indicator needle.
