L&NWR Route indicator

Scarce L&NWR wall mounted train route indicator instrument in complete and very original ex-signal box condition. Nicely plated ‘Up & Down North End’ along with rotating route description plates ‘To Birkenhead’, To Holyhead’ and ‘To Coal Yard’. Solid mahogany case with fine dovetail construction and glazed door with working lock. The base of the case is clearly stamped ‘L&NW No. 013’, with an integrated block bell mounted to the top of the display case. The bell coils are in good condition and activate on a 6-volt supply.
