Description

A Beautiful and totally original London Brighton and South Coast Railway punch box. Hand made from soldered tin plate this delightful box has a hinged lid with a wonderful integral locking clasp. Very clearly stamped 'LB&SCR' the box houses a full set of nine number punches from number one to number zero with the six doubling also for number nine. Perhaps constructed by a LB&SCR fitter who knows how many locomotive components and other railway pieces of equipment were asset marked with this set of metal punches. H: 80mm
