A Great Western Railway spring-loaded door closer. Complete with all working parts present this beautifully detailed door fitting is constructed from lightly polished brass and appears to be in original un-restored condition. Marked very clearly with the stamp mark 'G.W.R' on the front bracket and 'G.W.R' twice on the rear of the brass castings this heavy item is very prominently identified by it's previous owner. An unusual item and a scare survivor waiting re-commissioning back into service. L: 185mm W: 190mm
