Solid mahogany case with dovetail construction side door and bottom access door with lock. The original dial repainted with 24 hour Arabic face post 1965 bearing 'B.R.' number '11148'. A range of typical repair reference pencil marks are present on the reverse of the dial plate including 'July 18 1939' and the signature with date from Doncaster repair shops Eddie Klein. Chain driven fusee mechanism with turned barrel supports and two stamp markings 'Ex.Y.R.K' indicating the clock was sold out of railway service through York Collectors Corner. Ex Woodhouse Rotherwood Sidings Signal Box in good working order.
