Description

Southern Railway 8inch oak cased fusee railway clock with a rectangular plated wire driven English fusee movement, supplied to the Southern Railway in 1938 by John Walker London at a cost of £3-10-0d. The original dial displays BR(S) JOHN WALKER 1 SOUTH MOLTON ST LONDON 10333 and the case has one side door and a bottom door secured with a brass turn. The SR clock records show this clock as last in use at Brighton Station time office and was previously used at Selhurst and Redhill Motormen's Control Room. In working order, keeps good time, complete with pendulum and key.
